Jill Cressy (MEd, BPHE, E-RYT 500) provides wellness coaching through workshops and trainings, and teaches at Oxygen Yoga & Fitness. She has extensive experience delivering presentations, leading trainings, teaching classes and developing programs including fitness, dance, sport, mindful movement, yoga & meditation.

Previously, Jill worked in administrative leadership positions at the University of Toronto Faculty of Kinesiology & Physical Education for 22 years. As the Assistant Manager of Fitness & Instruction, she received U of T Excellence Through Innovation Awards three times, the Stepping Up Award, an Accessibility Award, and recognition for U of T True Blue Service & Citizenship. She also has experience working in a secondment role with U of T’s Student Life Health & Wellness, and leadership experience with the YMCA.

Jill’s Master of Education is from OISE U of T Department of Leadership, Higher & Adult Ed. with her final elective at the Graduate Department of Exercise Sciences and her research paper published on The Roles of Physical Activity & Health in Enhancing Student Engagement: Implications for Leadership in Post Secondary Education. In addition, she has a Bachelor of Physical & Health Ed. from U of T. During her undergrad, she enjoyed being a Varsity Lacrosse athlete and performing in the U of T Festival of Dance, and received a Student Leadership Award & Dance Award.

Jill also completed the Applied Mindfulness Meditation Certificate Program through U of T School of Continuing Studies, the U of T Rose Patten Mentorship Program, Fitness Leader & Coaching Certification, Trainer Certification, Yoga Teacher Certifications with YogaFit Worldwide, Meditation & Mindfulness Teacher Certification, Pilates Teacher Certification, and Oxygen Yoga & Fitness Teacher Certifications including Methodized Training and Barre Fusion.
